Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy is a skin treatment that aids in the rejuvenation of the skin. At North London Electrolysis and Laser, our goal is to leave you with smooth, youthful skin so you feel like your best self.
Microneedling at North London Electrolysis & Laser
Our microneedling equipment uses a fine needle that leverages your body’s natural healing process to regenerate healthier, young looking skin.
After several treatments, you will notice a change in the following symptoms:
- Acne Scarring or other types of scars
- Stretch Marks
- Enlarged Pores
- Fine Lines and Wrinkles
- Hyperpigmentation
- Loose or Crepey Skin
How does Microneedling work?
During the treatment, the needle penetrates the skin, causing a micro-injury. This signals the cells in your body that it has been injured, causing a collagen and elastin boost to your skin. The good news is, the micro-injuries caused by micro-needling dissipate after a few days. You are left with smooth, soft skin with a more even complexion.
The tiny micro injuries caused by microneedling treatment also allow lotions and serums to penetrate the skin more effectively. It can be performed on many parts of the body, including stomach, legs, arms, back, and more.
Microneedling For Acne Scars & Stretch Marks
Microneedling for Stretch Marks
Almost everyone, men, women, and teens will fall victim to stretch marks at some point in their life. The stubborn lines left behind by stretching of the skin is very difficult to get rid of and can be hard to prevent if you they are in your genes. Microneedling has the power to encourage the healing of the stretched skin and in turn, reduce their appearance.
Microneedling for Acne Scars
Acne scars can be very detrimental to your self-esteem. Many of us have experienced acne and pimples in our lifetimes, but what’s worse is being left with acne scarring that is difficult to get rid of. Luckily with Microneedling, acne scars can be a thing of the past.
As the micro-needles penetrate your skin, your body will react to the injury and start to naturally heal itself. The result is a boost of collagen and elastin, leading to smoother skin, fading in your scars and a happier face.
Microneedling For Wrinkles
Wrinkles are a telltale sign of aging, but they are not something to be ashamed of. With that said, there is nothing wrong with wanting to reduce the signs of wrinkles as you get older.
The natural aging process breaks the skins connective fibers down. As we age, our skin becomes thinner and rougher. Without the extra collagen and connective tissue adolescence have, your skin slowly starts to lose strength and flexibility. It then begins to wrinkle due to gravity and loss of the additional collagen.
Microneedling can solve your wrinkle problems! At North London Electrolysis, we can successfully treat fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating the healing process of the body.
