Experienced professional tattoo removal treatments tailored to each individual tattoo and skin type.

Effective

Advanced lasers can treat various ink colors including black, blue, green, and red with appropriate wavelength settings.

How Laser Tattoo Removal Works

The laser breaks apart ink particles in the skin using specific light wavelengths. The body then naturally flushes away the ink particles.   Laser works on professional tattoos, amateur tattoos, cosmetic tattoos and traumatic tattoos.

You need to know

Laser tattoo removal requires multiple treatments 6 to 8 weeks apart.  It may take upwards of 12 months to complete the treatments.  We cannot guarantee specific results as outcomes vary by individual, tattoo characteristics, and healing responses.

What to expect

Eye protection is provided for the treatment. The laser handpiece is moved across the tattoo area, there may be a mild snapping feeling during the procedure.  The skin will be swollen immediately after treatment and there may be some pinpoint bleeding.  The tattoo will gradually fade over weeks as the body flushes away the fragmented ink particles.

Aftercare

There may be temporary swelling immediately after treatment.  Keep the area clean and avoid sun exposure during healing.  Follow aftercare instructions for best results.

FAQ's

What is laser tattoo removal?

Laser tattoo removal uses specific light wavelengths to break down tattoo ink particles in the skin. The body’s immune system then gradually flushes the fragmented ink particles naturally.

Most people describe the sensation as similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin.  Discomfort varies by person and tattoo location.

The number of treatments varies significantly.  Most professional tattoos require 6 to 12 sessions spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart.  Factors affecting treatment count include ink color, depth, tattoo age, skin type, and individual healing.

Black and dark blue ink respond best to laser treatment.  Green, red, and yellow inks can be more challenging and may require different laser wavelengths.  Some ink colors may not fully disappear.

Temporary redness, swelling, blistering, or crusting may occur.  These conditions typically resolve within days to weeks.  Following aftercare instructions helps minimize side effects and promotes healing.  In rare cases, hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation may occur.
